Student Centres
What are Student Centres?
Student Centres are your first point of contact for advice regarding:
- Administrative and transactional services such as enrolment, fees, results, assessment, transcripts and student ID cards
- Course planning and graduate study. Student Advisers can provide you with individual advice on course selection and pathways to future employment, graduate professional degrees, or research higher degrees. Advisers can also assist you with queries and concerns about academic progress, your ability to engage with your studies, and life on campus.
- Study abroad, exchange, volunteering and community engagement activities
- Referral to specialist services, such as careers advice, counselling, financial aid, housing and academic skills or language support.
There are 12 Student Centres at the University:

Commerce - 8.30am-5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am-5pm Friday
VCA - 8.45am-5pm Monday to Friday.
Law - 8.45am-6pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45am-5pm Friday.
Education - 8.30am-5.15pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am-5pm Friday.

Research Higher Degree students
Research Higher Degree students can obtain advice, information about skills programs and referrals to specialist services from their faculties and from the Melbourne School of Graduate Research. Opening hours are available here.
