Student Centres

Libraries & Learning Centres

The University Libraries are being upgraded to state of the art learning centres to provide students with innovative learning resources and facilities. The libraries will have IT rich spaces for individual as well as collaborative study, accomodating the various learning styles of students. They will also be supported by comprehensivie digital resource access. The libraries will go hand in hand with associated student service centres to provide students with an integrated one-stop-shop of student services and learning resources.

The first library to be upgraded, the Eastern Resource Centre and Tate Learning Centre encompassing the Engineering and Education collections, opened on July 28, 2008. More information on library developments will be posted on the Student IT website regarding facilities, opening hours and access, as it becomes available.
