Tips for Program Design

If you are considering initiating a program that involves some component of student work off campus, (or making changes to an existing program), there are a range of issues you will need to consider. These range from length of the proposed program or placement and forms of assessment to EHS and compliance matters and ensuring your program is inclusive.

The following pages provide examples of programs that are successfully in operation across the University. The various offices within the University that deal with matters such as Insurance and EHS are also profiled.
