Careers fairs in 2008
Careers fairs are a highly effective way for employers who are currently recruiting to:
- introduce your organisation to prospective graduate employees
- inform students of employment opportunities within your organisation
- publicise your recruitment activities on campus and distribute recruitment literature and application forms to students
- maintain your profile and reputation on campus
Our careers fairs include the: Graduate Careers Fair, LIVE Volunteer Fair, Employment Experience Fair and the Global Opportunities Fair
We are also involved in the online Virtual Careers Fair
According to their feedback, students find these fairs to be great opportunities to network with company representatives, find out about the huge array of graduate opportunities available and the associated application processes.
Cancellations
Cancellations up to two weeks prior to a careers fair will not incur a cancellation fee. Cancellations after this time will incur a charge.
Security procedures
Careers & Employment has security procedures in place for risk prevention and incident management. We aim to provide employers with maximum exposure to students of their interest in the most appropriate forum.
As part of our updated measures, when you book into a careers fair via Careers Online, there are some security questions that we ask you to complete to enable us assess your security needs.
If we believe that you or our students will be put at risk by your organisation attending a Careers Fair, we reserve the right to offer you alternative options of interacting with our students.
