Further study
Further study is an increasingly popular option and may be undertaken to qualify for professional recognition, enhance employment opportunities, or for personal interest. To explore the benefits of further study, it is worth speaking to professional bodies or employers in the career or industry you are aiming to enter.
The Careers Resource Centre (CRC) has a database called OZJAC on the kiosk computers, and is a good starting point for course information. The further study section of the CRC has a small collection of directories for courses at universities and TAFEs as well as some handbooks of individual institutions.
Course advice
The best source of information about courses and research is the relevant faculty. Each faculty has Course Advisers and it is usual to make an appointment to see them.
