- Many employers will advertise their opportunities almost 12 months in advance so make sure you look at these opportunities from March in your final year.
Media advertisements
Local, national and international newspapers as well as magazines, journals and other industry publications will advertise jobs. Get to know where jobs in your field are commonly found.
Internet
This category may include employment search engines as well as the websites of organisations or professional associations where vacancies are posted.

Employment agencies
An employment agency or recruitment consultancy advertises and fills jobs on behalf of a client. Some recruit graduates however most require several years of industry experience.
The Recruitment and Consulting Services Association (RCSA) is the professional body within Australia, and can assist you in locating reputable member agencies suitable for your purpose.
Job Network is a national network of around 200 private, community and government agencies which may be able to assist with your job search.
