Overseas working holidays for Australian students
Working overseas is a popular choice for students and graduates, and can be an invaluable experience and addition to your resumé. The Careers Resource Centre's International Employment section features a wealth of information and resources for Australian students looking for work overseas. Most countries limit who can work there and for how long so a good first step in any overseas job search is to check out any working restrictions by contacting the relevant embassy in Australia.
Some positions will be advertised on Careers Online, however you may need to use a number of resources, particularly the internet, to find and secure the right opportunities for you.
The Global Opportunities Fair on Monday 8 September 2008, organised by C&E, is an excellent way for you to speak directly with employers about working holidays in Australia and overseas.
