KickStart Your Career: Arts

Career Counselling in the Arts Student Centre

A Careers Consultant will be available during semester to meet with students one on one to discuss matters concerning career direction, job seeking and further study options.

Half hour appointments will be bookable via the Student Centre Online Scheduling System www.arts.unimelb.edu.au/about/contact.html during semester.

Appointments at Careers & Employment are available at other times. Book in person on the 1st floor, Baldwin Spencer Building or call 8344 0100.

Don’t be shy - expose yourself!

Getting exposure to, or experience in, career fields of interest to you will help you assess career paths and begin the vital process of connecting with your future industry. Involvement in non-academic aspects of University life is also vital to developing skills that employers seek.

Learn a few techniques to maximise access to career information and employment opportunities.
