Young Achievement Australia

Find out about joining the YAA Business Skills Program in 2009, by visiting Young Achievement Australia and look out on Careers Online for the YAA Information Session to be held on campus in March 2009.

Students who get involved develop, market and sell an innovative product that fills a community need or market niche, and take responsibility for all operational and management decisions and tasks. Students are required to donate a percentage of their profits to charity and then return the rest of the profits to their shareholders.

Beginning each year in April-May, the program runs from 16-24 weeks. With guidance from comprehensive program manuals and a business mentor, students work in groups to experience all of the stages of a concentrated business cycle, taking responsibility for all essential business processes.

Students participate in a Trade Fair, intensive Management Skills Seminars, and the prestigious YAA Student Business Person of the Year, Company of the Year and other awards.

Alternatively you can call the YAA Melbourne office on +61 3 9650 2923 or email vic@yaa.org.au.
