Thomas Ahwang, from the Torres Strait, is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Print Making at the Victorian College of the Arts. Thomas’ artwork id called “Woven.
Brothers and Sisters are woven together in a chain of events. The feeding frenzy that takes place in society, as the fishes in the image represent peoples views. As we feed upon each other, the eye of the eagle is there to symbolize the foresight required to use to your advantage.
