Michelle Earthy
Project Officer
Born in Perth, Western Australia, Michelle recently relocated to Melbourne 18 months ago for work commencement at Monash College, Monash University as a Senior Student Administration Officer. Prior to working at the Centre for Indigenous Education, Michelle worked at Curtin University of Technology, Perth for a period of 8 years. Her recent role as Project Officer in the Centre of Aboriginal Studies at Curtin oversaw many new developments and projects. Michelle's role was to promote the Rob Riley Memorial Lectures, coordinate events for Visiting Indigenous Research Scholars, assisting with administration for Working with Indigenous People workshops and CAS website development. Michelle also worked in other areas at Curtin specifically relating to Student Administration and Courses Management which entailed overseeing the course approval process for Courses Committee and Academic Board.
Michelle is currently in her final year of Bachelor of Social Science (Anthropology) at Curtin University and is also admitted into the Graduate Certificate in Business which articulates into an MBA. Michelle hopes to finish her Anthropology and to commence honours next year, if time still permits.
