Simone Brotherton
Recruitment & Engagement Officer
Simone is a Dja Dja Wurrung and Gunai/Kurnai woman. Simone has been working within the Indigenous community the whole of her working life, starting off as the Assistant Manager of Narana Creations cultural centre in Geelong. Her main areas of work has been in communications and public relations including events management and support.
She has worked mainly in government with a majority being with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission (ATSIC) in the Media & Marketing Division. A highlight of her career has been attending the 2000 Sydney Olympics as a part of a journalistic team.
