Facilities at the Centre

The Centre provides additional support by offering a number of facilities for student use. These facilities include:

Common Room
The common room is a popular meeting place for students which is equipped with a TV, DVD Player, VHS, kitchen area and comfortable surroundings to relax in. It also includes data access points for students with laptops.

Tutorial Room
The Centre for Indigenous Education has a number of rooms for student use. These include rooms for studying and meetings. Please note, the meeting rooms need to be booked in advance and this can be done at the reception desk.

Student Computer Lab
One of the main facilities at the Centre for Indigenous Education is the Computer Lab. There are currently 14 computers for student use. Students can access the computer lab after hours using their student card*.

The Student Computer Lab is open between 6.30a.m until 10.30p.m. Access using your student card can be arranged at the Centre.

Conference Room
The Centre for Indigenous Education conference which caters for both Indigenous and non-Indigenous students & Staff. It is equipped with an electronic whiteboard and projection equipment. The Centre's Conference room can be booked for meetings, tutorials, lectures or phone interviews through our reception desk.

Postgraduate Room
Next to the Conference Room, we have a Postgraduate Room which is a quiet area for study and also includes computers, printer and a lounge. Swipe card access is required to access the upstairs Postgrad Room.

 

These facilities are vailable from 6.00am to 10.30pm, Monday to Sunday. Please note that after 5.30pm Swipe Card Access is required to access the centre.
