Sexual Preference
What sort of person am I? Am I attracted to men, or women, or both, or no one at all right now?
It's perfectly OK to answer this question in different ways at different times with different people throughout your life. Sometimes you want to be with people, and sometimes you don't.
When you begin to realise that your feelings for other people may not be of a conventional kind, it is common to feel alienated from, or rejected by, the mainstream. You can also feel cut off from those with similar preferences, full of doubt that your feelings are legitimate, or worried about managing the reactions of family and friends. The Counselling Service can help you feel understood, and will support you in feeling comfortable with whatever you decide.
