Darryl's social work career spans hospitals, community health, child welfare, aged and disability services, Austudy, local government, crisis centres, private practice and now tertiary education. He has interests in strengths-based and solution-focused approaches, motivation, self-care, and growth in many forms. A professional playwright and performer, he is also a freelance print and web journalist, and has taught creative and technical writing at tertiary level.
