Professional Development

As the Higher Education sector constantly evolves, there are more and more issues that University staff are expected to be cognisant with. Information relating to the participation of students with disabilities is also ever changing. 2005 saw the introduction of the Disability Standards for Education, in 2006 the AVCC updated its Guidelines Relating to Students with Disabilities. The Legislation and Policies page and the Staff Handbook cover important information for University staff with regards to University expectations in meeting the needs of students with disabilities.
