St. Vincent De Paul Grant Grants for students with a disability. Applications are made through the general, MBBS or postgraduate grants application form.
Housing Bursary Program Rent assistance for students in need.
Postgraduate grants Grants/Bursaries to assist with course and living costs for postgraduate students.
Student Loans Short-term and long-term loans for students in financial need. Designed to help meet emergency situations and unexpected costs.

Melbourne Access Scholarships Access Melbourne enhances opportunities for selection into a course as it provides prospective students with the opportunity to explain the ongoing circumstances that have affected their chance of gaining a place at the University of Melbourne.
Commonwealth Learning Scholarships Scholarships introduced to assist students from low socio-economic backgrounds, particularly those from regional and remote areas.
Fay Marles Scholarships The scholarships - previously known as Postgraduate Equity Scholarships - provide support for students with disabilities. Academic performance is taken into account in the assessment of an application.
Frederick Blake Shepherd Scholarship Scholarship available to candidates undertaking research higher degree studies on a full- or part-time basis, with preference given to disadvantaged candidates.

Mobility Allowance Mobility Allowance provides assistance to people with disabilities who are unable to use public transport without substantial assistance.
Health Care Card A Health Care Card entitles you to reduced cost medicines as well as a limited number of other concessions.
Commonwealth Learning Scholarships The Commonwealth Learning Scholarships (CLS) programme provides financial support to eligible undergraduate students to assist with the costs associated with higher education.

Bond Loans Scheme The Victorian government can provide low-income earners a loan for the bond when starting a tenancy. Applications can be made to the Department of Human Services.

Geoff Fethers Fund The Geoff Fethers Education Fund was established in 1985 to 'assist in the tertiary education of Deaf people'.
Post-Secondary Scholarships Deafness Forum provide educational scholarships to facilitate the participation of people who are Deaf or people who have a hearing impairment in post secondary education.
Welfare Grants The Cancer Council Victoria Welfare Grants program offers one-off financial assistance to cancer patients in the form of a cash grant for those in need.
Further Education Bursary Awards Vision Australia (Formerly Royal Victorian Institute for Blind). The Further Education Bursary aims to assist clients, who for financial reasons would not otherwise be able to participate in further education.
Robert Rose Foundation Assistance to those with Spinal Cord Injuries wanting to acquire new skills & qualification and to function more independently in society.
The June Opie Scholarship The award, available to citizens and permanent residents of Australia , Canada and New Zealand , is designed as an incentive for students of high academic achievement who have a severe disability.
Learning for Life Grants / Tertiary Scholarships Learning for Life  provides children and their families with access to personal and financial support through qualified staff and volunteer mentors and access to additional programs, advocacy, emotional guidance and referrals to specialist services.
Trust Fund Arthur Marsden Whiting Sympathy Fund - To provide assistance to individuals of the Protestant
faith with a primary physical disability who are in
need of financial assistance.
