Course Fees

General Course Costs

As a general estimate students will need to budget about $500-600 per year for course costs, such as text books, stationery, printing costs, etc.

Specialised Needs

For some courses students will need to budget for higher costs throughout, or in particular years of the course.

It is important to check with your Faculty or Department about any additional special costs that will be incurred during your course. In some cases, it may be possible to receive some financial assistance from your faculty.

Course Placements / Part-time work restrictions

In some courses, such as the Diploma of Education, Bachelor of Social Work and most VCA courses, there are periods during the year when it will not be possible to participate in part-time employment. These restrictions may need to be taken into account when assessing income within a budget.
