Housing Expo 2008 takes place on Academic Advice Day. It will be a great place for you to speak directly with student housing providers about your housing needs.

Housing Expo 2008 provides a unique opportunity for you to find centralised information about the broad range of housing options available to you. So don‘t miss your chance to get in early and beat the housing rush.

• Talk to student housing providers about your housing options.
• Learn more about navigating Melbourne's housing market and your tenancy rights & duties from:
  
  
  • The University's Student Housing Services;
  • Tenants Union of Victoria; and
  • Consumer Affairs Victoria.
• Green up your new home with tips from Sustainability Victoria.
• Find out about available bursaries and scholarships (eg. the Housing Bursary) from Student Financial Aid Advisers who can also provide advice on ways to cut costs and boost your income.

Come and take a break in our Share House Lounge, grab some popcorn, be entertained and you never know: you may even meet potential housemates!

Information Sessions

We also present various housing information sessions throughout the year.

These sessions explore the variety of housing options available to students and provide some tips on how to decide on and source the most appropriate option. Information on tenancy rights and duties are also discussed.

Students and parents are encouraged to come along and ask questions.
