Emergency Housing

Sometimes life doesn't go the way you planned. Housing is often one of the first things affected during a time of crisis.

If you are experiencing a housing crisis and are in need of short term housing, we may be able to assist. Depending on your needs, Student Housing Services may be able to offer you supported emergency accommodation or make referrals to relevant external agencies.

What is an Emergency?

There are many reasons why you may find yourself in a housing crisis. To help you get back on track you may also wish to request assistance from the various other University services.

Emergency House

Short-term crisis housing at the University of Melbourne 's Emergency House may be available to University of Melbourne students who are in need of emergency accommodation.

Community Based Services
