Programs for new studentsAcademic Advice DayAcademic Advice Day is your first step as a student new to Melbourne. At this point you will receive the necessary information and advice to complete your enrolment, including subject advice. This is also the best time to make sure you have your housing arrangements sorted out. We are running the following interactive workshops, focussed on helping you develop your house-hunting (and finding) skills. Semester One 2009Academic Advice Day 2: Thursday 19 Feburary 2009Venue: Room 242, Alice Hoy BuildingSession 1 (10am - 10:30am) Session 2 (10:30am - 11am) Session 3 - repeat session (3pm - 3:30pm) Session 4 (3:30pm - 4pm) Week 0: OrientationSemester One 2009: Tuesday 24 February - Friday 27 February 2009The University coordinates a Central Orientation Program for all commencing undergraduate and postgraduate students at the beginning of each semester. Orientation introduces you to campus life, to people, to new ways of teaching and learning and to the multitude of resources and support available at the University of Melbourne. During Orientation, we will be running the following housing sessions. These are repeated sessions that were originally held on Academic Advice Days 1 & 2.
