Pre-departure Briefings
Each semester, ISS organise Pre-departure Briefings in a number of countries. All commencing international students and their family are invited to attend the briefings prior to their arrival in Melbourne. This will also be an important opportunity to meet other new students. At these briefings, you will receive information on:
- Studying at the University of Melbourne
- On-Arrival services
- Accommodation options
- Orientation and enrolment events
- Student services on campus
- Academic support services
- What to bring and not to bring
- Living in Melbourne (cost of living, food, transportation, etc.)
