Before leaving your home country, it is worthwhile to check if you have completed the important tasks listed below.
- Accepted your offer from the University?
- Paid the tuition and other required fees?
- Received an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment form from the University?
- Applied for and received your student visa?
- Booked your air ticket and planned to arrive in Melbourne a couple of days prior to the beginning of the Orientation and Enrolment Program?
- Requested airport reception?
- Applied for accommodation?
- Organised an emergency contact number in Australia?
- Given the University issued Family Contact Card to your family?
- Checked to see what items you are allowed to bring into Australia?
- Checked the dates for the International Student Orientation and Enrolment program?
- Made copies, to be left at home, of important documents?
- Thought about how to deal with moving to a new environment?
