OSHC Providers

OSHC WorldCare

The University has entered into an agreement with OSHC Worldcare as the preferred provider of OSHC to commencing international students. OSHC Worldcare covers you from the date of your arrival in Australia, and your membership card will be available for collection when you enrol (or shortly thereafter).

What Happens if You Don't Have an OSHC Card?

If you don't have your OSHC card with you at the time of appointment the University’s Health Service administrative staff can obtain the number by ringing your OSHC provider. As an overseas student you are required to have up-to-date OSHC. If you are waiting for a replacement card all medical expenses covered under your policy can be claimed once you have received your OSHC card.

Other OSHC Service Providers

Basically, health funds that wish to offer OSHC must sign a deed with the Department of Health and Aged Care, which sets out the formal arrangements for the provision of OSHC. To view a list of health funds that have signed this deed and are currently offering OSHC, please visit the Department of Health and Ageing website given below.
