The Duke of Edinburgh's Award
The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is hosted by the Leadership, Involvement & Volunteer Experience (LIVE) unit at The University of Melbourne. The Award is an International 'leadership in action' program for young people between 16-25 years.
It is not a prize achieved in a competition - it's about personal development - anyone and everyone can achieve The Award by setting and attaining goals in the activities that they choose.
The LIVE Unit is coordinating the Gold* level of the Award at The University of Melbourne.
Challenge yourself, become more confident and gain new skills. Get out there and make new friends, have some great experiences and achieve your personal best. Get started now!
"The Award has given more structure and purpose to all the endeavours I have taken outside an academic arena. It has helped me discover my passion for trying new things, seeking new challenges and helping others along the way." Gold Awardee
*Students who are interested in undertaking the Silver and Bronze levels of the Award need to contact the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Victorian office directly.
