Organisational profiles
The LIVE Unit is eager to both aid your recruitment and foster your relationships with our students.
With this in mind, Volunteers Online has been upgraded to include organisational profile pages.
These profile pages:
- allow your organisation to have a permanent year round online presence on our system for students to view.
- increase awareness of your organisation and display all current volunteer opportunities you have advertised on Volunteers Online.
- provide you with the unique opportunity to summarise information about your organisation in a format that students have asked for.
- enable you to upload photos and feature up to six volunteers in your organisation
Cost
Creating a profile is free for not-for-profit organisations.

Completing your organisational profile
To have your organisational profile viewed by University of Melbourne students on Volunteers Online, you will need to create and submit your profile via the University's official employment and volunteer search facility Careers Online. To be able to create a profile you will need to have had at least one volunteer opportunity advertised.
- Log on to Careers Online. (If this is your first time using Careers Online you will need to "Register as a new *employer")
- Click on the "Create and submit profile" link in the top left hand section of your home page
- Profiles last for one calendar year from date of approval.
N.B. People requesting tutors and other private household work are not eligible to take out a profile and will not be able to view this link.
*The term 'employer' also refers to not-for-profit/community organisations/groups
