Individual Tutorial Service
Tutorial appointments
An individual tutorial is when you meet one to one with an adviser.
From semester one, 2008 our services will be delivered in conjunction with your faculty Student Centre. For the most up to date information about our individual tutorial service hours and location, please check with your Student Centre or faculty web site.
Important change to booking ASU individual tutorials!
From July 1, bookings for these tutorials will need to be made at your Student Centre. Please phone your Student Centre to make an appointment. Note that Land and Food Resources bookings will continue to be made through the ASU reception.

Our services are often in high demand, so for equity reasons we record how many individual appointments a student has each year.

Get the most out of your tutorial time
To help ensure that our service meets your needs:
- You can book an individual tutorial up to two weeks in advance. Availability may be limited, so it's best to book early.
- You should bring all relevant information, including the task instructions and the assessment criteria, to your tutorial.
- Please bring your draft in hard copy. We cannot work from discs or laptops and we do not offer a printing service.
- Please cancel your appointment rather than fail to attend it .
- Failure to attend without notification will count as one appointment
Your co-operation in cancelling your appointment ahead of time will enable another student to use that appointment time.
