Do the DELA
DELA is the Diagnostic English Language Assessment.
If you are an International student from a non-English speaking background DELA provides you with the opportunity to have three important areas of communication assessed: writing, listening and speaking. This assessment is FREE. Ask your faculty office for more details.

Academic Program for International Postgraduate Students(APIPS)
A specially designed program to meet the needs of international postgraduate students. The APIPS Program provides international students with the academic, social and cultural support required to assist them with their studies and the transition to learning in a new cultural environment.
Join an overseas student club
MUOSS: Melbourne University Overseas Students Service
MUOSS is the official representative body for all overseas students enrolled at the University of Melbourne. MUOSS provides a service to all international students and organizes many social, cultural and educational events.
