All Round 1 Financial Assistance applicants will be considered for the Aitchison Travelling Scholarship. One scholarship is awarded based on financial need with consideration given to academic merit. The value of this scholarships varies according to the funding available but is usually approximately $5000.

Timeline

To be considered for Financial Assistance you must apply before you go overseas by the deadline of the round you fall into depending on your study abroad/exchange arrangements.

In addition to submitting your acceptance, before payment can be made into your bank account you must have your enrolment record updated by your Student Centre/s to reflect your overseas study. You can check this on your student portal.

Deferring your scholarship

Students awarded Melbourne Global Financial Assistance in a previous round who deferred their overseas study will be considered under the guidelines of the round for which they are currently applying. There is no guarantee they will receive assistance.
