A $5,000 one-off payment.
Eligibility
To be considered for an EAL Student Mobility Scholarship applicants must:
- be an incoming international exchange student in 2010. A citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand. Australian citizens, permanent residents and New Zealand citizens are not eligible to apply
- be a high academic achiever
- not receive any other scholarship other than for tuition fee waiver or a fee remission scholarship. That is you must not be in receipt of another scholarship that is an allowance payment. You may receive a scholarship that pays your fees. If you have already received other allowance funding, and you are selected by Education Australia Ltd, you must reject your other funding in order to accept this scholarship.
- be prepared to submit a report at the end of your overseas study.
Selection
Selection is based on academic merit.
Application Process
Applicants submit an application form to n.taguchi@unimelb.edu.au by 29th October 2009.
Nominations of candidates are then forwarded to Education Australia Ltd for selection.
*Transcripts
Please note: if you have you already submitted a transcript to Melbourne Global Mobility with your exchange or study abroad application, you do not need to include a second transcript with your scholarship application.
Timeline
Applications for 2010 close 29th October 2009.
Outcome
Successful applicants were advised from mid-December 2009.
Unsuccessful applicants will not be contacted.
