The National Meat Industry Training Advisory Council (MINTRAC) will be offering scholarships to Undergraduate students in 2008.
Benefits
There are five scholarships available, valued at $5,000 per year for the duration of a qualification for students interested in pursuing a career in the Australian Meat Industry.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a MINTRAC Undergraduate Scholarship, students need to be:
- undertaking university study for the first time
- undertaking a qualification that is useful to the Meat Industry
- willing to work for six weeks per year for the duration of the scholarship in a meat processing plant
- considering a career in the Australian Meat Industry on completion of their studies
- sponsored by a meat processing plant (MINTRAC will assist successful students find a sponsor).
