Rural Finance Scholarship
Each year Rural Finance awards up to six scholarships to Victorian students. The scholarship grants were introduced in 1992 and since that time Rural Finance has committed over $1.25M towards the education of 73 students.
Benefits
The scholarship offers students an annual payment of up to $6000 for the duration of their course subject to satisfactory academic progress.
Eligibility
The scholarships are open to all students who
- can demonstrate a career commitment to agriculture. This includes tudents who plan to take up farming as a career or who are planning to provide consultancy, research, technological, marketing and other services to agriculture.
- are under the age of 26
- are enrolled at a Victorian tertiary institution in the first or second year of their first undergraduate degree.
