The Shelley Phillips Scholarship
Please note: the Shelley Phillips scholarship is now held by a current student. We do not expect to offer the scholarship again until she has completed her studies which may not be until 2010, meaning the scholarship would be offered again in 2011. Any changes to this timeframe will be advertised here.
Introduction
The Shelley Phillips Trust provides a scholarship to support one female student from rural Australia who is enrolled as a full-time student in an undergraduate degree.
The scholarship is awarded for the normal duration of the degree for which the student is enrolled.
Eligibility
You must:
- be a full-time undergraduate female student
- have completed secondary education in a rural or regional location of Australia
- not hold another University of Melbourne scholarship which provides a cash allowance
Benefit
- An annual allowance of $4,000, paid semesterly.

- Applications will reopen in 2011.
