Graduate Orientation runs from Monday 21 - Friday 25 July. Detailed in the extensive program are:
Getting Started steps for enrolling and beginning the Orientation stage of your studies.
Academic Skills Sessions and Resources which are designed to support you in your academic pursuits. These include Graduate Research Essentials, Friday 25 July, 1.00-4.00pm, a tailored briefing for all new PhD and Research Masters candidates on supervision, e-research and research skills. CourseWorks: Nuts and Bolts, Thursday 24 July 2.00-3.00pm, guides you through the essential things you need to know when beginning your coursework degree.
International Graduate Orientation sessions assist you in getting started academically with the Academic Orientation Program for International Postgraduate Students (AOPIPS) as well as culturally and socially.
Faculty, Graduate School and Department activities further assist you with enrolment and inducting you into your studies.
Life Support and Fun Stuff introduce you to student services available at the University and help you connect with other students.
