Audio Visual Equipment

The use of Audio-Visual equipment is included in the rental for theatres however specifications vary from venue to venue. The best way to ensure that you have the equipment you require in your booked venue is to state your needs at the time of making your booking.

If you have any specialised audio-visual needs, we recommend that you contact the University's Teaching and Learning Support Services Group (TLSS), at least one month in advance of your event, to determine whether your needs can be met. TLSS can arrange for expert technicians to support your event, subject to staff availability (additional service fees will apply).

Hand-held microphones are available on prior request only in the following venues:

Teaching Space Support and Event Recording

It is possible to have an audio visual techinician at your event to provide support and also to visually record your event in certain venues. You should mention that you would like to have a technician and/or record your event when making your booking so as to ensure that an appropriate venue is secured.
