Internal BookingsInternal Bookings of Central SpacesAll central teaching spaces can be booked by internal clients outside of when university classes are using venues. More information on the types of rooms available for hire on campus, and the services provided in relation to room hire can be found under General Information. Most internal bookings do not attract any internal charges. If your booking is set to run after-hours or requires patrons to pay an entry fee, you may be liable for some costs. Naturally, if you request extra cleaning, extra equipment, or the services of a Building Supervisor or Audio Visual technician, your booking will also attract a charge. Please be aware that some venues on campus (notably Arts Hall, Wilson Hall and the Sidney Myer Asia Centre theatre) have special booking procedures. Free Public lectures are exempt from all charges. Applications for Free Public Lecture status need to be made through the Vice chancellors office. A detailed explanation of the roles and responsibilities of all parties in relation to the booking of University facilities can be found in University of Melbourne Venue Hiring Policy and Procedures [PDF, 36KB] |
